A consulting client, working with a Technology Company, sought to evaluate what B2B operating platform services are of interest to e-commerce merchants in Asian markets like Indonesia and what are the key areas where they are still facing challenges. The client also wanted to get more insights around latent demand and merchants’ propensity to pay.

Solution

ExpertConnect custom recruited a large number of e-commerce merchants across various product categories and marketplaces to consult with our client. The team was also able to map out merchant’s journey on leading ecommerce platforms and understand the challenges faced by various merchants.

Result

The series of interviews allowed the client to shortlist key areas where merchants faced challenges and it was recommended that the proposed digital solution must incorporate some specific features as part of overall offering in order to gain market acceptance.
